I grew in the Kansas City area and moved to Wichita in 1978. I attended college at WSU from 1971 to 1975.
I love the business community, and in particular the legal community. It is comprised of hard-working courts and judges, and many skillful lawyer. I have been able here to work for great clients on interesting matters. And I love the Sedgwick County Zoo. I have been there hundreds of times.
Wichita has everything a family could want. Housing is affordable, this is a diverse community, the schools are great, and there are incredible companies located here, such as Koch, Cargill, etc.
From a selfish standpoint, I would like to say Wichita is still my home (that will mean that I am still alive). On a more serious note, I would like to say that downtown Wichita has succeeded in redeveloping itself, and law firms and other companies are moving back into it.
More projects to move businesses downtown, or keep them here.
