What is the biggest challenge or opportunity for our community in 2016?

Perception of the city (internally and externally) – making sure everyone locally appreciates what a great city this is and that we are able to sell that message externally – supporting the GREAT work Susie Santo and her staff do at Visit Wichita.

What lasting impression do you hope the community will have of Together 2016?

continuing to improve the quality of life

Why did you choose to get involved in Together 2016?

Kim Nussbaum, Susan Armstrong and Patty Koehler invited me – as I began to see what this group does I became very excited and proud to be part of it.

What would you tell a person who is considering moving to Wichita?

Get here as fast as you can – there is no better place to live.

How has Wichita changed since you first moved here?

It just gets better!

Who is someone locally that has influenced you?

Pat Hanrahan, Lyndy Wells, Gary Plummer, Jeff Fluhr, Vera Botner, Tom Devlin, the great staff of The Wichita Eagle, Randy & Kathy Putman, the whole Putman/Riffel family, Kelly Harper and the awesome class of 1974 – West High School High School!

Downtown – the River
