What lasting impression do you hope the community will have of Together Wichita?

This campaign will illustrate the power of working together. It only takes a few people to make a real difference in our world. I believe our community will be energized to join us. By the end of the year, I hope we will see our efforts have been multiplied by hundreds of others who decide to make their own positive contributions.

Why did you choose to get involved in Together Wichita?

I’m excited about the opportunity to make good things happen in our community. We will be able to choose projects, combine our resources, and see the results — all within a few months.

One of the principles of Together Wichita is to invite every citizen to participate. Who would you invite first?

I’d love to see our young people get involved. They have fresh ideas, and energy. But, more importantly, this campaign is about the future. We should be building a concept they want to embrace as their own.
